I’ve played around with a reverse 411 service before. I’ve heard that some people give them a try to find prank callers.

I use the reverse lookup service for my business. I do specialized media work, and my cell phone is my first business phone. Sometimes a prospective client will call me from their cellular phone, and I’ll miss the call. Being that their name isn’t yet in my contacts list, their name doesn’t appear on my caller ID. If they do not leave a moral, I will not know if it’s a customer, a wrong number, or a telemarketer. Using a reverse 411 lookup service, I’m in a position to input their number, and it will give me their name, location and other of assistance details. This helps me identify who I’m contacting before I call them back with the reverse cell lookup, making my business more professional and “on the ball”, especially to the client. I seldom lose an added client now.
